COATING
ORANGE SHIELD®
A registered and trademarked protective coating bearing our characteristic orange color. A technopolymer (P.T.F.E. is spray-applied to the blade body then baked to enhance its protective properties. Chemical compounds cannot attach this coating, it remains insoluble in water and solvents, is completely non-stick and diffuses and disperses heat.
MATERIALS
Steel. It is the heart of the blade and CMT uses the best available: made with tempered steel to reach a hardness of 42-44 Rockwell.
Hard metal. CMT uses special formulas of carbide for each type of blade application.
